My Vision
Kelly Schuster
M.Sc., RSLP
Born and raised in Canada, I received my BA from McGill University in 2009 and my MSc in Speech & Language Therapy from the University of Limerick, Ireland in 2013. After graduation, I moved to the Kingdom of Bahrain and set up the Speech & Language Therapy department within a leading behavior and development center, specialising in intervention for children with Autism Spectrum Disorders (ASD) and Developmental Disorders. After 4 years working in Bahrain, I have now relocated back to Canada (Sechelt, B.C.), where I will be working privately as well as contracting out to schools across B.C.
I have experience working with children age 11 months - 16 years with various speech, language, and learning difficulties including: Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), global developmental delays, receptive and/or expressive language disorders, speech sound disorders, motor speech disorders, hearing impairment, and deficits in social thinking and interaction.
I am PROMPT Level 1 trained and dysphagia Level 1 trained.
I am registered with the College of Speech, Hearing and Health Professionals of British Columbia (CSHHPBC) and Speech-Language & Audiology Canada (SAC). I am in good standing with the Ministry of Children & Family Development (MCFD) and am on the Registry for Autism Service Provider (RASP)
